Steps to follow to resolve the situation: 1. Check for Updates manually in Windows From the Start button, type Check for Updates and select the option offered in the search window. Or select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and then select Check for updates. Install any updates found and restart your computer, repeat until there are no other updates. 2. Check that you have the .NET Framework 4.7.2 (or later) installed (for Studio 2021 you need 4.8!) - see this article: How to: Determine which .NET Framework versions are installed 4.
