We are constantly reviewing and improving our products and as a result, enhancements and fixes to resolve issues that users are experiencing are released as required. This article lists the enhancements and fixes for our latest major version, Trados GroupShare 2020 SR1, to date. Resolved issues

• It was not possible to successfully perform a Concordance Search when using server-based TMs. This is now resolved.

Trados GroupShare 2020 Cumulative Update 4 - Build 15.1.4.5066 (released on 04. February 2020)

Trados GroupShare 2020 Cumulative Update 3 - Build 15.1.3.3940 (released on 30. September 2020)

This installer, named SDL_Trados_GroupShare_2020_Service_Release_1_CU3.exe (2 GB) is a full installer and can be used to install fresh instances as well as perform an update from Trados GroupShare 2017 SR1 CU10 and Trados GroupShare 2020 SR1.

This update includes the following changes

• Changed the TM related UI to align with the LC UI and include the new Language Processing Rules Recognizers

Compatibility information

• Installer throws a friendly exception if the SQL server version is not supported by GS, therefore preventing waste of time while investigating various installation issues because the install scripts cannot be performed on an unsupported server
• Custom batch task – the possibility to add a custom (GS) batch task – more info on how to create a custom batch task can be found here
• Reporting Service - a new service and database tables were created for enabling faster dashboard and reporting
• Export and Import Studio project packages
• All users can view the background tasks that they generated (i.e. download studio project package)
• Possibility to upload multiple zip files for project creation using GS Rest API

Resolved issues

• Sorting the TMs (by name, description, location, and container) is now fixed
• Rename server-based termbase name from MT Desktop Admin it now reflected in SDL Trados GroupShare WebUI
• Fixed errors when renaming Root organization
• Published at filter now shows and filters by the actual publication date of the project, instead of the creation date
• Remove cross-site scripting vulnerabilities

Known issues

• Project analysis fails when using a project template created directly on the SDL Trados GroupShare website without using a template file. This will be addressed with the upcoming update. In the meantime, please provide a template file when creating the project template on the site.
• Project creation on the website fails with the error "Could not find a part of the path." when using outdated Microsoft Edge browser versions. Please update to a more recent version of the Edge browser.
• All added TMs are removed from the Project Template dialogue when removing one language pair.
• The translation progress shows an incorrect, negative value when checking in a file using a Chinese-based source language after editing it in the Online Editor.
