You attempt to add a server translation memory or open a TM in the Translation Memories view.
|
Note: Below workarounds have to be performed by an administrator of the GroupShare server.
Workaround A: Grant Guest role in Root organizationThis workaround grants the user permissions of the Guest role, including read access to all TMs, termbases and projects on the server.
This workaround will grant the user the access that is necessary to view all field and language resource templates on the server. Users will also be able to see all organizations on the server (but not their other content).
Ensure that the user has access to all field and language resource templates linked to all translation memories the user has access to. SDL Support may be able to assist you in identifying problematic templates (see below).Notes:

Your user has access to translation memories without having access to the associated field templates or language resource templates.
This situation may arise if - the TM has a corresponding template linked, - the TM is linked from a different organization or - the TM was moved from a different organization. Note: This situation may also arise if the TM does not appear to have any templates linked. SDL Development is aware of the problem and is working on a solution. Note: A partial solution has provided with SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 CU8 (in this version, the TM list loads but linked TMs are not displayed). |
