Workaround 1: Run a repair installation1. Close all RWS applications.2. Open the Control Panel: - Windows 7: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. - Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program. - Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features. 3. Select the relevant product from the list e.g. MultiTerm 2022 Desktop, right-click it and choose Repair. 4. Restart MultiTerm 2022 Desktop. Workaround 2: Reset MultiTerm Desktop 2022 to default settingsIf the above approach does not solve the problem, you can reset MultiTerm 2022 Desktop to default settings:1. Close all RWS applications. 2. For Windows 7/8/10 you can directly copy/paste the following path in File Explorer, then press the Enter key on the keyboard, to reach the folder location below: C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\MultiTerm 3. Rename the MultiTerm17 folder to MultiTerm17_old 4. Restart MultiTerm 2022 Desktop. Settings files for MultiTerm 2022 Desktop can get corrupt and need to be repaired or reset. These files are automatically re-created when MultiTerm 2022 Desktop is restarted. They are user-dependent and therefore located in your Windows profile folder. |
