1. Create a DeepL account from this website.
2. Log in to your DeepL account, access your account settings, and in the Summary tab check your API Pro key under Authentication Key for DeepL API.

Install and activate the DeepL add-on in Trados Enterprise/Accelerate/Team:

1. Log in to Trados Enterprise/Accelerate/Team
2. Go to [account name] > RWS Appstore
         
      
3. Click on DeepL Machine Translation Provider and select Install

       
4. Add your API Key and select the desired Translation formality (you can later review these settings by using the "Edit Add-on configuration" button)         
    
Tip: You can see more info about the fill-in fields by hovering your mouse over the information icon
      
5. In the API Version section, V1 is selected by default. In case you add your API Key and you get an error message like "The configuration or setup of the DeepL Machine Translation Provider App is invalid", select the API Version V2 and press the Save button.





NOTE! If you still receive an error message like the one from Step 5, please uninstall and reinstall the DeepL Machine Translation Provider plugin in Trados Enterprise/Accelerate/Team and add the API key again.

NOTE2! You will need to purchase a subscription to DeepL Pro and you'll need an API Pro key to use the add-on which you can obtain through DeepL sales. Pricing for the DeepL service is available through this DeepL website.

Add DeepL Translator MT as a translation provider when configuring your Translation Engines:

1. Create your translation engine
2. Under Machine Translation select Add Machine Translation Engine -> Add the DeepL Translator MT translation provider
