The following message occurs in Trados Studio 2022 or 2021:

Connection error
        No internet connection
           Trados Studio requires an internet connection to sync your cloud project files.
           Check your network and try again


 

The error message is just a visual notification and it normally shouldn't affect the functionality of Trados Studio. However, in order to avoid it, please apply the exception in your Windows Firewall or antivirus for URLs, as explained in this article: Consideration when using a proxy to access and/or use Language Cloud (opening URLs and ports).

Trados Studio requires specific ports to be opened and URLs to be added as exceptions to the firewall in order to connect via a proxy server. The article provides information on which URLs and ports need to be considered.
