These documents are provided for reference purposes only. All installations and upgrades (other than for cumulative updates of the same
Trados GroupShare version) should be performed by RWS Professional Services or an RWS Authorised Reseller. Please
contact your sales representative or reseller to arrange this.
Upgrading from
Trados GroupShare 2017 SR1 CU10 to
Trados GroupShare 2020 without the assistance of RWS Professional Services (or a reseller) may be possible in certain situations. This requires the approval of your sales representative, who should be contacted before attempting the upgrade.
Troubleshooting any failed self-installations or self-upgrades is not covered by your SMA (Support and Maintenance Agreement), and is performed entirely at your own risk. Any self-installations/upgrades must be thoroughly documented in an installation protocol, and this installation protocol should be sent to your sales representative immediately after the system is up and running correctly in order for us to provide you with continued support.
The installation guide and release notes are regularly updated when new cumulative updates become available. You can find both documents in your
RWS Account under
