The translation memory data file is corrupt error message is displayed when trying to open a Translation Memory in SDL Trados Studio
There are a number of things that can cause a TM to become unusable (corrupted). Here are a couple of possible causes: - the TM is located on OneDrive, DropBox (or other sharing platform) which does not have a stable connection with Studio - transferring the TM repeatedly from one location to another and not allowing the transfer to fully complete - another application on the computer (antivirus- or anti-malware software, backup software, etc.) is accessing the TMs while these are in use
Download and install the SDLTM Repair tool (https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/sdltm-repair/298/) from the SDL AppStore in order to try and repair the Translation Memory.
