Download the attached Passolo ADM files.zip and load the ADM files by using the
Microsoft Group Policy Editor:
NOTE: In some cases the machine must be restarted in order for this to work.
- Open the Group Policy Object Editor (for instance, by running Start > Run… > type gpedit.msc).
- Right-click Administrative Templates and then choose Add/Remove Templates.
NOTE: Administrative Templates are available under either Computer or User Configuration. Select the configuration that fits your need for the SDL Trados Studio and/or SDL MultiTerm applications. - Click Add
- Select the appropriate ADM file - Passolo2022DisableUpdate.adm, Passolo2015DisableUpdate.adm, Passolo2015TranslatorDisableUpdate.adm, Passolo2016DisableUpdate.adm, Passolo2016TranslatorDisableUpdate.adm, Passolo2018DisableUpdate.adm or Passolo2018TranslatorDisableUpdate.adm - and then click Open. Repeat the last two steps to add another ADM file.
- Click Close.
- The custom ADM file policy settings are now available in the Group Policy Object Editor under Administrative Templates > Classic Administrative Templates > SDL Applications. You can now enable or disable the Autoupdate feature for SDL Passolo from the right-hand frame.
