Symptoms/Context
On the Tasks page, select one or more Task and go to  More Options > Task Options > Change Due Date and assign a new Due Date for the Translation step (or any other step).

As a result, the system will send out a notification. It also sends e-mails for the action with title Task Step Due Date Changed to all users assigned to the step where the Due Date has been changed.
Resolution
This is the new default and by-design behaviour as of WorldServer 11.3 and there are  currently no plans to change this (documented in the development item CRQ-9756).

If you do not want assignees to be notified of the Task Due Date change, de-select the option Send E-Mail to assignees when changing the Task Due Date as displayed here:

It is not possible to set the option Send email to assignees to be deactivated per default. If you do not want an email to be sent out, you will need to uncheck the option before you click OK.
Root Cause
A new option Send E-Mail to assignees was introduced as of  version 11.3 and is selected per default. The default behaviour of the Change Task and Step Due Dates functionality changed from NOT sending a notification to assignees to sending a notification. This has been documented in this section of the Worldserver 11.3. documentation.

Note: The notifications are not sent to 'all' users in the system but rather to all users assigned to a step, e.g. if project is still in a step before Translate, when Due Date is being changed/set and Translate is assigned to WorkFlow Role Translator the notification will be sent to all users in the system matching that criteria.
