Question
WorldServer Transport is the only WorldServer User Interface where a user can still view archived projects when using the Summary By Project Status View instead of the Simple List View:

In Transport, it is possible to delete an archived project by selecting and clicking on Delete:

What happens when a user deletes an archived project?
Answer
As described in this article this article, when a project is archived, it is moved from the PROJECTS table to the ARCHIVEPROJECTSTABLE in the WorldServer Database.

Only archived projects can be deleted from Transport. The deletion is merely cosmetic. Deleting an archived project from Transport simply removes it from the User Interface for all users. The project will no longer be visible in the list of archived projects in Transport. This removal has no impact on its status in the Database. The project will still remain in the Database and in the ARCHIVEPROJECTSTABLE.

In theory, all archived projects can be deleted/removed from Transport as part of a clean-up maintenance or if you do not want users to view archived projects. As mentioned, their removal from the UI has no impact on the worldServer environment and on the status of these projects in the WorldServer Database.
