TitleWorldServer - are "QA Checker" reports removed once all issues are fixed?
URL Name000017673
SummaryThe QA checker report log file (visible as Task attribute) gets created only if the QA checker finds one or more issues. If you/the translator fixes the issue, once the QA checker step runs again, there are 2 possible outcomes:

1- It will still find at least one issue. In this case, the previous log will be overridden with the new results and the Task will go back to the human step where the issue is supposed to be fixed. Typically, it is the Translate step.
2- It will find no more issues. In this case, the Task will move to the next step as configured in the workflow. The last Qa Checker report will still remain as a task attribute, it will not be removed in the active project. As all task attributes, it will only be removed automatically by the Project Cleaner once the project and/or task are archived.

Question
I just wanted to enquire about the behaviour of the QA Checker step reports. It appears that once a report is created with "errors" it is not updated nor eliminated even though the "errors" have been corrected.

Is this the expected behaviour?
Answer
The QA Checker automatic action checks whether each segment in a task meets certain validation criteria after being translated or reviewed. If the task meets all the criteria, it moves on to the next step in the workflow. If it does not meet all the criteria, you can view a report that contains each segment and the criteria that it did not meet. This report is available both in .xml and in .html format on the Tasks page. To download the report, make the QA Checker Report column visible in the table on the Tasks page, and then click the link under QA Checker Report.

You can - however - remove the report manually yourself from the Task attributes window.
