SDL Studio GroupShare Web UI is based on the Microsoft Silverlight embedded content type. Similiar to Adobe Flash and Java applets, Microsoft Silverlight stores information, e.g. in the Application Storage. Due to various reasons, the information cannot be accessed. There are two possible workarounds depending on the use case:

The default installation of SDL Studio GroupShare places the complete SDL Studio GroupShare Web UI files including the necessary Microsoft Silverlight resource files in:
IF the Web folder is moved to another location/folder structure, the SDLWebUser including the permissions is not automatically included. This means the SDLWebUser needs to be added to the new folder structure and provided with the necessary permissions to allow it to open the GroupShare WebUI which loads the Microsoft Silverlight embedded content type. |
