A user attempts to search by publication in Publication Manager.  He/she opens up the client, and heads to Browse Repository > Search tab.  He/she then opens Advanced options, enters the GUID of a publication in the Identifier box, and finally clicks Search.

As seen above, no results are returned.  If the user tries the Find What box on the top left, there will also be no results returned.  This is because this search engine is limited to searching for XML and image objects.

If the user instead searches by the publication's title (either by preference or if the GUID is not handy) in Browse Repository, the results returned will include various objects containing any of the included words, but not the publication itself.

Should the user need to search for an entire publication, and has that publication's GUID, he/she can do so in the Web Client.  Go to the Search tab and from here, there are two methods of publication search.  Select Publications on the left and either enter the GUID in the Identifier box (provided it is known, of course), or the publication's title in the Search by Publication Title box.

As seen here, the same search conducted in the Web Client as opposed to the Publication Manager, returns the desired result.
