When generating a Resource-only DLL for a 64 bit executable, a 32 bit DLL is created.

Attached to this article is a 64 bit DLL that can replace the shipped version.

To use it

1. Download the file and extract EmptyRsc64v10.dll to a local folder.
2. Start Passolo.
3. In the Tools menu, click Options.
4. Select the page System/Advanced.
5. At BaseDLL enter the path to the extracted EmptyRsc64v10.dll

Now Passolo uses this 64 bit DLL as base when generating a resource-only DLL.

To generate a resource-DLL, Passolo uses an internal file as base. The shipped file is a 32 bit DLL.

It is possible to use 32 bit resource DLLs with 64 bit software. The DLL does not contain code, so there is no difference. If you are creating targets for 32 bit and 64 bit systems, you should use the shipped 32 bit DLL.
