Symptoms/Context
You are creating or editing assignment in a new or existing workflow, but are unable to save the changes due to the following error:
Resolution
Create groups specifically for granting permissions versus groups for use in assignments.
Root Cause
From November 2023, assignments are now limited to a maximum of 50 users in total. This includes any individual users, as well as the members of any groups assigned to a particular task.
