Failed to initialize view "ProjectsView" and "Sequence contains no matching element" error messages appear when starting Trados Studio

Symptoms/Context

Trados Studio 2022 fails to start and throws a Failed to initialize view" ProjectsView" error, with the additional Sequence contains no matching element, after selecting Overdue in the Due Date dropdown on the Projects View and starting the software again.

Resolution

1, Make sure Trados Studio 2022 (including the error message) is closed
2. Navigate to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17 (just paste the path in Windows File Explorer and hit Enter)
3. Rename the UserSettings.xml file there ( to UserSettings_old.xml for example)
4. Start Trados Studio 2022 and check if the issue still occurs

Root Cause

The issue occurs because of defect CRQ-37209.
