In Sites 9.5, editor frequently sees a SAML login prompt

Scope/Environment
Tridion Site 9.1, Site 9.5
Symptoms/Context
- After editors log into the CME, the editor frequently sees a SAML login prompt.
- Administrator has requirement to get rid of unnecessary login prompts.
Resolution
Add the session timeout value in Tridion.ContentManager.config file to extend timeout for security change

- Navigate to %TRIDION_HOME%\config\ folder and unprotect tridion.security section in Tridion.ContentManager.config(Link to unprotect procedure here:

-Open %TRIDION_HOME%\config\Tridion.ContentManager.config config in a text editor.
-Add sessionTimeout property under saml20IdentityProviders section and set its value to the desired token restoration timeout in second.
-Protect tridion.security section in Tridion.ContentManager.config (the procedure described in abovementioned link).
-Start the IIS Service, Tridion Content anager Services and Tridion Content Manager COM+ Application.

Note :
for Access management where auth0 & authz is being configured, access token timeout value will be extended instead
