Why are Excel tables embedded as XLS not extracted in Trados Studio although the option Extract contents of embedded Excel charts and sheets is enabled in the Word filter?
 

MS Word allows embedding of XLS  format, but Trados Studio does not extract it, because it is in the binary format.
The Excel object should be embedded as XLSX to resolve this situation.
