When trying to open a project created with a template based on an offline Cloud package, the error below occurs and the project cannot be opened:

This project cannot be opened in the Studio Edition you are using. Only project packages or single documents can be opened.

1. Make sure the project is closed in Trados Studio
2. Open the .sdlproj file in Notepad++ (or another text editor program)
3. Find the section marked in the screenshot below and delete it
4. Save the modified file



It should be possible to open the project without any issues afterwards.

Creating a project template from an offline Cloud package adds the following information to the template:

<Setting Id="ProjectOrigin">Offline cloud package</Setting>

Such templates cause issues if they are used in GroupShare. Packages created from projects using this template cannot be opened in Trados Studio.
