Restored TM Container database does not work - An internal server error occured - negative UTC time-zonee

Symptoms/Context

GroupShare website error:

"An internal server error occured. {"ErrorCode":"ServiceError","Message":"An error has occured while processing your request."}

Checking the TMService log file reveals this error:

EX:The UTC time represented when the offset is applied must be between year 0 and 10,000.

Resolution

A DBA that understands what is happening should do this. Always create a backup before making any changes. The database name will most likely be different, replace "TMService" below with the real database name in your instance.

UPDATE [TMService].[dbo].[LanguageDirection]
SET LastRecomputeDate = NULL
WHERE LastRecomputeDate = '9999-12-31 23:59:59.9999999'
