1. When clicking on Project Settings in Trados Studio 2021 SR2 the following error is thrown:

 Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation  

2. The below error could also appear when opening Studio 2021 SR2:

'SimpleInjector, Version=4.9.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=984cb50dea722e99' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)



3. When trying to access Translation Memories inside projects, the following error message is thrown:

Failed to create setting page.




The issue occurs when upgrading to Trados Studio 2021 SR2 from earlier versions while having the previous version of the WorldServer Compatibility Pack for Trados Studio installed.

Workaround 1:

1. Go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features select WorldServer Components 2021, double click on the components and select Uninstall.
 2. Open Trados Studio once and click on Project Settings to confirm it loads correctly. Note that you won't have the WorldServer-related buttons. That is because the WorldServer components are not installed yet.
 3. Install WorldServer Compatibility Pack 16.9.1783 (SR2)  from https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/worldserver-compatibility-pack-for-sdl-trados-studio/1102/

Workaround 2:

1. Open Software Center (or the software deployment tool used by your company) 
2. Search for the WorldServer Compatibility Pack for SDL Trados Studio 16.2.1739
3. Click on the components and select Uninstall
4. Install WorldServer Compatibility Pack 16.9.1783 (SR2)  from  Software Center

Issue occurs because of the WorldServer Components 2021 (16.7.1757 or older) not being compatible with Trados Studio 2021 SR2
