Symptoms/Context
Exceed maximum segment count of 100000... error message received at the File Format Conversion stage when processing XLSX or PPTX files.
Resolution
Reduce the number of rows/words in the file or split the file in two or more parts.
Root Cause
The XLSX and PPTX file types in RWS Language Cloud has a maximum segment count which is limited to 100000. Anything above this number will not be processed and the Exceed maximum segment count of 100000... error is received. For the time being there are no plans to increase this number.
