Many customers are using OneDrive without any issues. But errors may occur due to this workflow, when resources in use in Trados Studio are synchronized with OneDrive. Possible issues include:
- Data corruption (corruption of translation memories, termbases or .sdlxliff files)
- Deletion of the list of projects (due to the corruption of the "
projects.xml" system file)
- Retrieving matches from the translation memory or termbase not working as expected
If possible, synchronization should be paused while Trados Studio is in use, or all Studio-related information should be saved in a location not synchronized with OneDrive. Or OneDrive can be disabled altogether. For further information, please see:
