Is there any configuration option to set in Trados Studio, to be able to translate just the visible part of embedded objects?

When translating a Word document or a PowerPoint sometimes there are embedded graphics. We just want to translate the graphic contents or words, not the whole Excel where the graphic belongs to. If we translated just the graphic and the original Word or PowerPoint, the resulting amount of segments to translate would be considerably less.  Is there any way to configure this? 

When enabling the "Extract content of embedded Excel charts and sheets" option, automatically all the text from the "background" excel is extracted.

A possible solution might be to edit the cells that don't need extraction in the embedded excels by coloring them and then using one of the options from: File->Options-> Embedded Content Processors-> Microsoft Excel 2007-2019 -> Content processing
