Editing termbase entries in Multiterm Desktop with the below condition met leads to entry corruption:

• Default layout selected
• Filter selected
• Hard Filter Mode enabled

This affects both file-based and server-based (GroupSHare) termbases.

The process can incorrectly merge entries or just parts (terms from certain languages) into another entry, leading to so-called ghost terms*.

*e.g. By ghost terms, we mean terms that can be seen in Multiterm's Browse list (left side) but are not being displayed on the right side with the correct content.

In order to avoid this install Multiterm 2021 SR2 16.2.1.1044 or avoid enabling the Hard Filter Mode option or use a different layout than the Default one when editing entries.

This was a known defect (CRQ-6093) and it is now fixed in Multiterm 2021 SR2 16.2.1.1044.
