When using the Translation Agent in the XLIFF Editor or the Add-In for Microsoft Office, there are no matches from Search Add-ons (e.g. DeepL, SDL MT Edge and others). This also affects the pre-translation feature in the MultiTrans Client (requires a MultiTrans Expert license) and the pre-translation Flow Machine Task. |
Check the configuration1. Go to Preferences > Search Add-ons in the MultiTrans Client and make sure the appropriate search add-on is enabled.If you'd like to retrieve a translation from a Search Add-on for every segment, enable the "Always get results from Search Add-ons" setting as well. 2. Make sure the Enable Search Add-ons option is ticked in the Administration Console. If this section is greyed out, you need to purchase and activate a MultiTrans Machine Translation Interface license. 3. Make sure you have done the appropriate setup for the individual search add-on as described in this documentation: Managing Search Add-ons 4. Consider increasing the Lowest fuzzy match % setting found in Options > Segment Matching. If there are any TextBase matches above this similarity threshold and you don't have the "Always get results from Search Add-ons" setting enabled, the search add-on will not be used.
