Workaround
- Right-click in the empty grey area in the middle of the screen and the options of Standard and User should appear as shown below:
- Remove the checkmark for Standard and the main screen should come up
*Note that the next time the client is launched the same steps will need to be performed. A reinstall with the steps below should provide a more permanent solution
Solution - Clean reinstall - You will need Administrative Rights on your PC to complete the following steps successfully
- Uninstall the MultiTrans client via the Control Panel > Programs and Features if a previous version is present.
- Ensure that the following folders do not exist or have been renamed:
- C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\My MultiTrans Files
- C:\Users\Public\Documents\Donnelley
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Donnelley
- Rename the following registry entries
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Donnelley
- HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Donnelley (verify if a Donnelley folder exists in any of the other user keys)
- Reboot your computer
- Log in with a local administrator account or run the install of MultiTrans as an administrator
- Reboot your computer after successful install
