Symptoms/Context

When creating a server-based Termbase via SDL MultiTerm Desktop/Administrator and following up to import data, nothing will be imported after the import progress bar reached 100%.
The import always fails with the message:

MultiTerm encountered irregularities during import. Please check the information in the log file.

In the import log file (which is always found in the same place where the XML content file is), the following error is displayed for each entry that was tried to be imported:

Does not conform to the target termbase definition.
Reason: Could not load file or assembly 'Sdl.Enterprise2.Platform.Client, Version=1.7.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c28cdb26c445c888' or one of its dependencies.
The system cannot find the file specified.   Source: mscorlib

Resolution

Request 1 MultiTerm Server Editor CAL for the GroupShare license

The current workaround for this encountered problem is to have at least 1 Editor CAL included in the license.

Root Cause

The GroupShare license does not include an Editor CAL (ECAL) for the MultiTerm Server component.

The SDL Development team is aware of this issue and is working on a solution. The reference ID for the reported issue is: CRQ-20907.
