You want to check out a file in Trados Studio, but the following error message appears:

             You do not have permission to check out this file in its current phase.

                

 

Delete the space after the username:

   1. Open Trados Studio
   2. Go to File --> Setup --> Servers
   3. Delete the space after the username
   4. Connect to the Trados GroupShare server
   5. Attempt to check out the required file again
 

This issue is caused by entering a space after the username when you connect to the Trados GroupShare server from Trados Studio. ( File --> Setup --> Servers ).
This is a defect which was forwarded to development and waiting for a fix in a future release: CRQ-20549
