1. In Trados Studio 2019, activate Embedded content processing for the Microsoft Excel 2007-2019 File Type Note: This is only reproducible with Excel File Types exported from Studio 2019. It works if the file type settings file is exported from Trados Studio 2017. |
This issue has been fixed starting from WorldServer 11.6.1. For earlier WorldServer 11.x versions, below is the workaround: Workaround: 1- Open the .sdlftsettings file in an XML editor (i.e Notepadd +) and remove this line <Setting Id="FileTypeConfiguration_ComponentBuilderId">SpreadsheetML v. 1</Setting> 2- Save your change. 3- Import the changed File Type Settings into WorldServer. 4- Now the embedded Content settings will be correctly imported and applied during segmentation.
