Opening a file in the Online Editor, and trying to Check-In results in the following error message:

The check-in operation failed
File processing error: Could not find a part of the path '...' An error occurred while converting from BCM to Target File An error occurred during the ConvertJsonToNative Operation.

 

The Project should be recreated, by setting a higher MB value than the source file in the Project Settings, in the Embedded field under the SDL XLIFF/General tab.



This issue will be addressed in a future GroupShare update and the Online Editor will be able to handle this.

The Online Editor is searching for the Source file. The source file size is larger that the maximum size allowed and marked in the Project Settings in Studio, so it was not embedded in the *.SDLXLIFF file.



Since the Source file (30 MB in this case) is bigger than the above default value - 20 MB - The Online Editor throws that error message.

Let's demonstrate this with Studio:

1. Open the GroupShare project in Studio
2. Select the Target Language
3. Right click on the file and select Get Specific Version and hit the Download button
4. The downloaded file does not contain the Source file (250 KB vs. 30 MB our source .docx file)
