If a database is shared and a user Trados Business Manager upgrades the version from the old version to the new one, the other users that share the same database will receive the below error message when opening the old version of the product:

Update error
Can`t update database. Maybe you run older version of the software while your database was updated from another copy of SDL Trados Business Manager, from another machine or from web. Try to run updater? Select NO to close the program. 

1. Make sure Trados Business Manager is closed
2. Go on this path: C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\SDL Trados Business Manager\database or on the shared drive where the database is stored - and create a backup of the baccsdb.sdf
2. Rename the baccsdb.sdf file to baccsdb_old.sdf
3. Right click on SDL Trados Business Manager and select run as Administrator
4. Add the default credentials:
User name: Admin
Password: User@TBM
5. Activate SDL Trados Business Manager 
6. Upgrade SDL Trados Business Manager > lower right side of the main window Update available - go through the upgrade process
7. Close SDL Trados Business Manager
8. Go back on the path C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\SDL Trados Business Manager\database - delete the newly created baccsdb.sdf and rename the _old.sdf back to baccsdb.sdf
8. Reopen SDL Trados Business Manager
