Yes, the
lprint command can be used for each queue individually or for many queues and results can be read on screen or redirected to an output file.
For example, this command will export the content of the compose queue to a file called
composelogs:
lprint compose > composelogs
For multiple queues at once to be sent to one file, for example, the
compose,
pstodisk,
psout, and
pstopdf queues with output redirected to the
allqueues file:
lprint compose pstodisk psout pstopdf > allqueues
Executing the lprint command without the redirect to a file (
> filename) will display results to the screen.
The log file will display each entry starting with
Q=queuename, Q=compose for example, with each task is separated by a dashed line.
