Error message: Failed to create setting page - when trying to access translation memory in Studio 2019 SR2 CU4

Scope/Environment

SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR 2 CU4

Symptoms/Context

When trying to access the translation memory through Project Settings > All Language Pairs > Translation Memory and Automated Translation the error message is displayed:

Failed to create setting page.

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

Sequence contains no elements.

Resolution

Reset SDL Trados Studio basic settings

Close all SDL applications.
Go to the following folder: Windows 7/8/10: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0
Rename 15.0.0.0 folder into 15.0.0.0_old.
Reopen Studio.

Root Cause

One of the outdated plugins corrupted the Studio user settings information.
