Workaround 1 - Temporarily create an Everyone group

1. Right-click the Windows logo and click Computer Management.
   
   
    
2. Go to Computer Management (Local) -> System Tools -> Local Users and Groups -> Groups. Right-click Groups and choose New Group
   
   
    
3. Type Everyone in the the Group name: field and click Create. Then click Close. Leave Computer Management open for now.
   
   
    
4. Go to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosGroupShare2017 and run EnterpriseEditionSetup.exe as administrator. Complete the update.
    
5. When the installation has finished, go back to the Computer Management window. Right-click the Everyone group and then click Delete. Click Yes to confirm the deletion of the Everyone group.
   
   
    
6. Verify that the localised version of the Everyone group (e.g. Jeder) has Read access to C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDLServer1\RaptorDB as per the screenshot below (if it does not then add the permission):
   
   

Workaround 2 - Edit the Chef script

1. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosGroupShare2017\chefsolo\cookbooks\cc_bcm\recipes\ and open default.rb in a text editor (as administrator).
    
2. Either replace Everyone on line 68 with the localised equivalent (e.g. Jeder in German) like so:
    

   rights :read, 'Jeder'
   

     or insert a # symbol before line 68 to comment it out. The entire section should look like this:
    

   directory "#{raptordb_folder}" do
   	recursive true
   #	rights :read, 'Everyone'
   	rights :full_control, svc_user 
   end

3. Save the file and then go to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosGroupShare2017 and run EnterpriseEditionSetup.exe as administrator.
    
4. When the installation has finished, verify that the localised version of the Everyone group (e.g. Jeder) has Read access to C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDLServer1\RaptorDB as per the screenshot below (if it does not then add the permission):
