When trying to open a termbase in Multiterm you get the below error message : 

Method not found: 'Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.Connectors.ServerPrivilege
Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.Connectors.ServerProxy.LogIn(System.String, System.String, System.String, Boolean, Boolean, Sdl.Enterprise2.Platform.Client.IdentityModel.PersistOption)'.

 

Solution 1 :

Install the latest updates for Multiterm and Studio.

Solution 2 :

A. Uninstall Multiterm from Control Panel.

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and features.
2. Right click on SDL Multiterm 2017 / 2019 - Remove suite of products.
3. Click Uninstall. 

B. Re-install Multiterm using the latest installer. 

When you try to uninstall Multiterm you might receive the following error message : Setup did not complete. Setup detected a higher version of this product already installed



If this happens, follow the below steps in order to uninstall Multiterm completely : 

1. Uninstall all Multiterm components from Control Panel except the one with "Remove suite of products" in the title.
2. Rename the below folders (for example, by adding an underscore before or after the folder name) : 

• SDL MultiTerm from C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL
• SDL MultiTerm from C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\SDL
• MultiTerm14 (for Studio 2017) or MultiTerm15 (for Studio 2019) from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SDL
• SDL MultiTerm from C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL
• SDL MultiTerm from C:\ProgramData\SDL

     3. Uninstall SDL Multiterm 2017 / 2019 - Remove suite of products from Control Panel. 
     4. Re-install Multiterm using the latest installer. 


 

Corrupted Multiterm installation.
