How to import content in Language Resource Template in SDL Trados GroupShare

Scope/Environment

SDL Trados GroupShare 2017 SR1.

Question

How can I import variables (and\or abbreviations\ordinal followers) to a Language Resource Template into SDL Trados GroupShare?

Answer

Steps:

Log into to the SDL Trados GroupShare web UI
Create the Language Resource Template in Resources -> Language Resource Templates
Choose a Source Language
Click the "Pencil Button" to customize
Select one of the resources i.e. Variables on the left side of the dialog.
Click the Import button, locate the file, select it and click Open
Click Finish

NOTE: The described Steps apply only for variables, abbreviations and ordinal followers. You cannot import or export segmentation rules.
