Symptoms/Context
When you try to connect to Language Cloud, the below error message is displayed:
Connection to Language Cloud failed.
Resolution
Reset your Language Cloud settings for Trados Studio.
Close Trados Studio
For Trados Studio 2022: go to C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17 (you can copy/paste this path into the Windows/File Explorer window and press the "Enter" key)
Delete the file LanguageCloudMachineTranslation.bin
For older versions, go to: C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL
for Trados Studio 2015: delete the file LanguageCloud.bin
for Trados Studio 2017: delete the file LanguageCloudMachineTranslation.bin
for Trados Studio 2019: delete the file LanguageCloudMachineTranslation.bin
for Trados Studio 2021: delete the file LanguageCloudMachineTranslation.bin
4. Open Trados Studio 5. Log into the desired Language Cloud account
