Scope/Environment
Studio 2017 SR1 / Multiterm 2017 SR1
Symptoms/Context
1. Open Studio 2. Add a termbase 3. Select a word from source side and another one from the target side and right click "Add new term" 4. Receive error message : Multiterm is unable to add the entry

Resolution
Workaround : Run a repair installation for Studio and Multiterm
Close all SDL applications.
Open the Control Panel:
Windows Vista/7: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features.
Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Trados Studio 2017 / Multiterm 2017) and click Repair.
