After editing and closing a project as usual, when re-opening the SDLXLIFF file you receive the error: 

Corrupt file: Missing tag information for tag with id: xxx 

Edit the SDLXLIFF file in Notepad++ (right-click on the file and select Edit with Notepad++ from the drop-down)

SOLUTION A:

1. Use Find and Replace (Ctrl+F) to identify the tag number from the error (Find what: TAG ID)
2. Check if you can find cases where the tag ID from the source segment does not match the tag ID from the target segment, like in the example below



3. Correct the tag ID from the target segment, to match the one from the source segment
4. Save the file


SOLUTION B:

1. Use Find and Replace (Ctrl+F) to identify the tag number from the error (Find what: tag ID and Replace with: leave blank)
2. Identify the TAG numbering order 
3. Click Replace 
4. Save after editing (Ctrl + S)
