When trying to edit an existing (or just recently added) terms in SDL Trados Studio it is displaying a script error and no changes are saved:

Solution: Replace Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.UI.dll

Note: This solution is only to be applied when Cumulative Update 1 for SDL Trados Studio 2017 is installed.
 

1. Close all SDL applications
2. Find attached to this article the Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.UI.dll.zip
3. Download the *.zip and extract the Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.UI.dll
4. Copy&Paste the Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.UI.dll into the following folder
   • 64bit Windows OS: C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio5\
   • 32bit Windows OS: C:\Program Files\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio5\

 

This is caused by the Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.UI.dll located in the folder: %Program Files%\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio5\
This is known and our SDL Development is currently working on a fix that will be delivered with Cumulative Update 2 for SDL Trados Studio 2017.

Until a permanent solution is in place, follow the steps described in the Resolution section.
