Error 'An error has occurred in the script on this page" when editing termbase entries

Symptoms/Context
When trying to add/edit a term the following error message is displaying:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Error: Unable to get property 'match' of undefined or null reference

Resolution

Resolution:

  1. Close SDL Trados Studio 2015 
  2. If yet not installed, download and install the latest version of Web Lookup from the SDL AppStore
  3. In the Editor view highlight a term
  4. Go to Advanced Tab and click on Web Lookup where then new page opens with the search result.
  5. Click Settings (scroll down until you reach the bottom of the page)

  6. Click Advanced and change the browser settings to 11 and restart SDL Trados Studio. (If the issue still persists after changing the browser settings to 11, please use default value, 7).
Root Cause
This message appears when using the Weblookup tool with the default browser undefined.
