You have already created a project in
Trados Studio, you published it to
Trados GroupShare and you now want to add new files to it.
- Double click on your existing Project, this takes you to the Files view.
- Now from the left choose the source language.
- Right click anywhere on the white space on the right side where the existing files are.
- In the right-click menu you have Add Files.
- After you add your new files you have to prepare them, just like the ones that were added initially to the project.
- Select your new files, right click on them and go to Batch Tasks and run the Prepare without project TM or whichever batch task you initially ran on your project. That will create bilingual .sdlxliffs and copy them to the target languages from where you can open them for translation.
If your Trados Studio project was initially published to
Trados GroupShare, then when you add your new files, you will notice a blue + sign next to them and if you hover over it, it will say:
Files added locally. You have to right click on the newly added files and choose
Check In. This will upload them on the
Trados GroupShare server and they will become part of your
Trados GroupShare published project
