Java 7 Update 67 (or higher) and/or Java 8 Update 20 (or higher) is installed on your PC and when you try to add/edit a term in SDL MultiTerm or SDL Trados Studio the following error is displaying: Application blocked by security settings You can click OK to close the message but the Edit mode is showing only a blank screen. Add or edit terms is not possible and you can only press Cancel to leave the Edit mode. |
Note about Service Pack 2 release for Studio/MultiTerm 2014The Service Pack 2 release of SDL MultiTerm 2014 and SDL Trados Studio 2014 dropped the Java dependency for our client applications (except SDL MultiTerm Extract). This means you do not need to have Java installed any more to add/edit terms after installing Studio/MultiTerm 2014 Service Pack 2.
