SDL WorldServer 11.1.1, 11.3.1, 11.3.5
When a user is working in the Browser Workbench. They click on Pretranslate then make changes to a target segment. After saving, it reverses the changes done to the target segment and it is back to the original text.
This is a filter defect with the XML (NT) filter which happens on manual translations brought in from Studio. This happens only immediately after the Pretranslate button is pressed.
There seems to be a combination which leads to the text disappearing. The first is a manual translation brought in from Studio, the next is the Legacy XML (NT) File Type, and the third is using Pretranslate.
The first workaround is after the user clicks on Pretranslate to click Save before any changes are made. After clicking save, the user should be able to make changes without them reverting.
The second workaround is to use a newer Studio Filter. For example the Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor) File Type and was not able to reproduce this defect.
