There is no real workaround for this known issue except for using a server termbase (or not publishing the project). However, the following approaches may help you mitigate the issue:
Workaround 1: Re-add termbase before running the F8 verification
- Open the document/file in the Editor view.
- Open the Project Termbase Settings
- Remove the file-based termbase from the list.
- Click OK
- Re-add the termbase and confirm the changes with OK.
Running the verification is returning results again. However, it only works for a limited number of times until the symptoms appear again.
Workaround 2: Run the verification from Batch Tasks
1. Open the document/file in the
Editor view.
2. Go to
Batch Tasks and select the option
Verify Files
Avoiding the warning message
The following steps will not enable you to use the terminology verifier. They will only suppress the warning message by disabling the (disfunctional) terminolgy verifier.
- Go to Home > Project Settings > Verification.
- On the right side, disable the check box in front of Terminology Verifier.
