Resolution
Workaround 1:
1- If you have a previous version of the WorldServer Components 2021, uninstall it first by going to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features select SDL WorldServer Components 2021, double click on the components, and select Uninstall.
2- Install the WorldServer components for your Studio version. Refer to this article for details: How to open a Worldserver package (*.WSXZ) and use a Worldserver Translation Memory in Trados Studio 2021
3- Open Trados Studio once to confirm it loads correctly. Note that you won't have the WorldServer-related buttons. That is because the WorldServer components are not installed yet.
4- Close Trados Studio
5- Install the WorldServer Compatibility Pack
6- Open Trados Studio again. It will now open without error and the Worldserver buttons Open WorldServer Package and Create WorldServer Return Package will be visible and can be used normally.

Alternatively, you can uninstall the WorldServer Compatibility Pack for SDL Trados Studio via the Control Panel of your computer, to resolve the issue. However, please note that by doing this you won't be able to open WorldServer Packages in Trados Studio anymore.

Note: In Trados Studio 2021 is not possible to open the Worldserver Packages by double-clicking on them, you need to use the Open WorldServer Package option from Studio. This has been raised with Development and it will be addressed in future releases.

Workaround 2:

1. Open Software Center (or the software deployment tool used by your company)
2. Search for the WorldServer Compatibility Pack for SDL Trados Studio 16.2.1739
3. Click on the components and select Uninstall
4. Start Trados Studio and check if the issue still occurs
5. Install WorldServer Compatibility Pack 16.9.1783 (SR2)  from  Software Center
