How to change the location of the projects.xml file in Trados Studio?

The Projects view is loading very slowly and it has delays in providing the project information.

This information can be found in Sdl.ProjectApi.xml file:

Steps to follow in order to change the path:

1. Go to  C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17   for Trados Studio 2022 or use the shortcut %appdata% in "Search Windows".
    Go to  C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16  for Trados Studio 2021
    Go to: C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\ProjectApi\15.0.0.0   for Trados Studio 2019

2. Open Sdl.ProjectApi.xml in a text editor (Notepad/ Notepad++) and change the path: 
<LocalProjectServerInfo LocalDataFolder="C:\Users\[User_Name]\Documents\Studio 2017(Studio2019)\Projects" UserId="DOMAIN\[User_Name]" /> with the path where you want to save the projects information.   

                                                                             

The project.xml file is not saved locally. The issue appears when the Sdl.ProjectApi.xml file is saved on a shared drive or on a network.
