Error message "Response status code does not indicate success: 400 (Bad Request)." in Trados Studio when trying to connect to Trados GroupShare 2017 (or higher)

You added the Server Address connection/login details to the Trados GroupShare 2017 (or higher) in Trados Studio using the IP Address for example:
 

Trying now in Trados Studio 2017 (or higher) to connect to Trados GroupShare 2017 (or higher) displays the following error message:


Response status code does not indicate success: 400 (Bad Request).



 

Use Server Address Name instead of IP Address

Instead of entering and using the IP Address, enter the Server Name in the RWS Server details login details dialog for connecting to Trados GroupShare 2017 (or higher)
An example instead of using the IP 80.74.8.80 as Server Address use the full name of the server where GroupShare is installed: http://gsdemo.sdlproducts.com/

This is caused when as server address in the connection/login details instead of the written server address the IP address is used.
